While adhesives from various manufacturers can provide a good bond, the most reliable one we can recommend is:
Nogawa Chemical Dia-Bond No. 888, 180ml
Nogawa Chemical is the company name, and Dia-Bond is the product name. No. 888 is the product number.
With over 50 years of proven performance in shoe adhesives, it is ideal for most leather shoes!
However, please note that it will not adhere to vinyl chloride resin, PP (polypropylene), or PE (polyethylene). Please check the material.
For rubber and leather products, try Dia-Bond No. 888 first!
Two important points to remember:
☆ Apply adhesive to both surfaces, allow to dry thoroughly, and then bond!
☆ After bonding, apply sufficient pressure with clamps or similar tools!
These two points are crucial, especially the pressure application.
