Forming part of an upcoming color-stitch collection, the Air Max 97 “Rainbow Stitch” is arguably be one of the most popular. Not only is the model itself a bonafide classic, but its wavy design lends itself to the thematic with ease and effect. Given the pair’s rolling overlays and vast breaks in stitch lines, it’s a perfect candidate for the theme, where it’s red, orange, yellow, green, and blue stitching can really pop against its all-black base. With each line so distinct, it creates a natural rainbow effect from top to bottom, landing at a striking blue outlined-Swoosh beneath. A no-frills all-white sole unit and matching lace set keeps things simple, all whilst adding contrast, and the pair is completed by signature 3M reflective finishes to the overlays.
