Description
Quirky pair of handmade vintage accent pillows featuring a dapper rabbit gardener surrounded by oversized vegetables. The illustration is a reproduction of J. J. Grandville’s “Un ami des légumes” or “A Friend of Vegetables,” originally published in 1842. Each pillow measures approximately 12 x 12 and is made from cream-colored twill fabric with green and gold checked piping. Both pillows feature the same wonderfully strange French illustration and caption. Vintage condition with scattered discoloration, small marks and general age-related wear, particularly around the outer cream fabric and corners. No tears noticed. Please review all photos closely, as the wear is part of their charmingly timeworn character.
