A versatile belay device and descender with self-braking function, suitable for rappelling, belaying lead climbers, and simultaneously belaying up to two second climbers on multi-pitch routes. Based on the latest strength design, the sides of the body have been hollowed out, achieving a weight of 59g, making it as light as belay devices without a self-braking function.

For belaying a second climber, the Reverso is directly attached to the belay point with a locking carabiner, and the rope is set using another locking carabiner. When the second climber transitions to lead, the device can be quickly switched to belaying the lead by simply re-attaching it to the harness belay loop in the same setup.

If the second climber falls and the rope jams, the braking can be easily and slowly released by inserting another carabiner into the release carabiner hole and using it as a lever, significantly improving a previously difficult aspect of self-braking devices. The release carabiner hole can accommodate large and thick carabiners, allowing for smooth and stable rope pulling.

The grooves carved into the variable V-shaped friction channel provide high braking power and are compatible with a wide range of thin ropes.
