Description
This exquisite vintage porcelain trinket box features a charming hand-painted lid depicting a Victorian-era courting couple in elegant attire. The piece is finished in a rich, matte moss green glaze that provides a beautiful contrast to the colorful figural lid, which showcases a gentleman and a lady in flowing blue and pink gowns. A classic gold-toned hinged metal rim secures the lid, making it a perfect keepsake container for small jewelry, rings, or daily mementos. Likely made in Japan during the mid-20th century, this collectible jewelry casket is in very good condition with minimal signs of wear and would make a romantic addition to any vanity or vintage decor collection.
