Sega Genesis 16-Bit Model No. 1601 Console w/ One Controller & Cords - TESTED

Console is tested and working. For the controller, the black jacket has pulled away from the controller, but all the wires are intact and it still works fine. Please note: The RF adapter that is included with this is intended for use on an old CRT style TV. If you want to hook it up to a more modern tv you will need AV adapter cable. These can be purchased very cheaply on Amazon. I have tested this system thoroughly and it does work. With old cartridge style games the issue typically lies with your actual game cartridge. If you plug a game in and it does not work then you need to clean the gold contact pins on the bottom of the cartridge. You may be able to get it to work by removing and re-inserting the game multiple times. Otherwise some alcohol and Q-tips should do a decent job of cleaning the pin contacts. See pictures for details and condition.
