Arimatsu Pattern Men's Yukata 100% Cotton Size L Sleeve length 66cm Length 143cm Back width 33cm Front width 24cm *Reference: Worn by a 172cm person Machine sewn Shibori Pattern Crepe 9-Shaku Obi (Sash) 64 x 356cm Material is unknown, but likely pure silk. The shibori is hand-dyed, not printed. A 9-shaku obi is called so due to its length, but it can be used similarly to a 3-shaku obi tied for dressing children in yukata. It can be widely used for festivals (hanten obi), Japanese dance, Kabuki, musical performances, and in modern times as a long obi for men's yukata and kimonos. The yukata is a ready-made product, but the cotton feels smooth and soft to the touch, suggesting it's of good quality. The pattern is likely printed. The tone is more subdued than in the images. The yukata has been worn twice. The 9-shaku obi has been used only once. As there doesn't seem to be many opportunities to wear them, I would like to pass them on while they are still in good condition. How about for summer festivals or other occasions?
