Vintage 1980s Carlton Glass Christmas Tree Cookie Jar – 3L Wire Bail Canister

Large vintage 1980s Carlton Glass Christmas cookie jar featuring a decorated tree with gifts, drawn by Sabin, with working wire bail and tight seal. This oversized vintage Christmas cookie jar was produced by Carlton Glass in the 1980s and features a classic decorated Christmas tree design illustrated by Sabin. The artwork includes colorful ornaments, candles, wrapped gifts, a toy train, and a teddy bear, all arranged in a traditional holiday composition that was popular across European and American seasonal glassware of the era. The jar is made of thick, clear glass and fitted with a functional wire bail closure and original rubber gasket, creating a secure, airtight seal. The glass lid is embossed “Ermetico,” indicating its airtight storage design. With a generous three-liter capacity, this piece works equally well as a cookie jar, candy jar, holiday storage canister, or decorative countertop display during the Christmas season. The wire bail functions smoothly, the seal remains tight, and the glass is free of chips or cracks. A substantial, well-made example of 1980s holiday kitchen glass that still feels practical and display-worthy today.
