In the 1970s, the existing rounded Tsukijirushi Pot was slimmed down and released as a drip pot. This Slim Pot has been loved for about 50 years and has gained many fans in Europe, Northern Europe, and America.
The Slim Pot requires manual work and special techniques for assembling the spout shape and painting during production, and is carefully finished one by one by dedicated Japanese craftsmen.
The soft form of the body and spout is created by the curves drawn by the iron base, which is assembled from approximately 22 parts, and the mellow glaze of vitreous enamel fired at high temperatures.
Enamel products are said to have natural antibacterial effects and prevent oxidation and chemical changes.
