Description

Thank you for looking at my listing.

This is a premium Hinoki cypress mat made from 100% Hinoki cypress from Owase City, Mie Prefecture.
We will deliver it freshly shaved.
Size 160

This is a substrate mat for adult stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles.
It has deodorizing and tick-inhibiting effects.
We also use it as a substrate for raising stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles in our own home!
We recommend moistening it with a spray bottle when using.

If you put it in a tea bag and place it in your shoe cabinet or shoes, it will also be effective for deodorizing and moisture absorption.

The scent of Hinoki cypress contains components such as hinokitiol (terpenes) that stimulate the olfactory senses of cockroaches, providing a **repellent effect (keeps them away)**. It has long been said that there are few cockroaches in buildings made of Hinoki cypress, and because it can be used as a natural cockroach repellent without insecticides, it is used as a repellent placed in rooms or as an aroma oil, and can also be expected to have a relaxing effect.

Immediate purchase is welcome!
