Description
This is a tea saucer made with Hidehira-nuri, a traditional craft from Iwate Prefecture.
Design: It features a traditional design called Hishi or Komimaru, with a band-like pattern in Bengara (red ochre) color, adorned with the Yusoku-bishi pattern in gold leaf.
Size: Approximately 12cm in diameter, suitable for everyday tea time or for guests.
As a traditional craft, it also makes a wonderful accent for interior decor as a tray.
It is inscribed with a maker's mark on the back, making it a lovely item.
There are some scuffs from use, so please examine the photos. Feel free to request additional photos if needed.
There is no original box, so it will be shipped in recycled packaging.
