Pachypodium Gracilius Small Bonsai with Ceramic Pot
Variety Name: Pachypodium gracilius
Flower meanings: Eternal Love, Charm.
Basic Care:
Location:
Prefers a sunny location year-round. It enters dormancy in winter and is sensitive to cold. During winter, keep it in a sunny indoor location or greenhouse as much as possible.
Watering:
Prefers dry conditions, so be careful not to overwater. In summer, water thoroughly when the surface of the soil in the pot has dried and turned white, allowing a little to drain from the bottom holes. During winter, when the plant has lost its leaves and entered dormancy, stop watering.
Fertilizer:
In the spring growing season (March-April), mix slow-release chemical fertilizer into the soil or provide diluted liquid fertilizer. To encourage thicker stem growth, you can also apply a top dressing in early autumn (September).
Repotting:
Once every two years, from April to June.
Mix: 4 parts Akadama soil, 4 parts Hyuga soil, 1 part bamboo charcoal, 1 part zeolite.
Pot Size: Width 95 x Height 70 (mm)
Using Ibaraki's hard Akadama soil with two red lines!
