This is a Kayaba-ishi stone from the Saru River in Hokkaido.
In my personal opinion, the size is a bit larger than usual for a Kayaba-ishi, making it ideal, wouldn't you say?
I purchased this as a very rare, untouched natural stone, but I am unable to authenticate or make detailed judgments. Therefore, please refer to the photos, be satisfied with what you see, and consider purchasing.
I own many natural stones, which are so incredible they've been featured in famous magazines. If this is indeed a natural stone, I believe it to be a superb piece even when compared to those.
The stone has come off the base. It is stable, but there are slight traces of old adhesive on the bottom of the stone. As this is an old item, I kindly ask for your consideration if you are accustomed to used goods.
