Description
Scientific Name: Sicarius thomisoides
This spider is very cute when it hides in the sand.
It appears white because it is covered in sand. It is said that by raising it with sand of different colors, you can create a Sicarius of your preferred color. Currently, it is being raised with green colored sand. It doesn't seem to have any particular harmful effects.
This species also appears to have necrotic venom, so please handle with care. There are no reports of bites, so the effects are unknown.
This spider inhabits the deserts of Chile and South America, and is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain, so we highly recommend it!
We apologize, but we cannot guarantee against grade reduction due to shipping. We will ship a molted exoskeleton specimen from the EUCB image.
