Yaeyama Stag Beetle, Large Mandible Form + Bonus
299.00 $
Description
Thank you for viewing.
This is a specimen collected from Iriomote Island before regulations were in place.
Photos 2 and 3 show the specimen at the time of collection.
This is a rare locality, with only one specimen listed even in all currently published identification guides. While this is a B-grade item, a 63mm specimen typically sells for over 70,000 yen, so this is quite a bargain.
Size: 63mm
Right middle leg missing, with general scuffing.
This is a cool specimen full of the rugged charm of the wild.
Detailed label included.
As a bonus, you will receive one small-toothed male, one medium-toothed male, and one female Yaeyama Stag Beetle each.
Thank you for your consideration.
