Japanese Giant Hornet (Queen) 3D Specimen
13.20 $
Description
This is a specimen of a Japanese hornet collected this season.
Although its name includes hime (meaning dwarf or princess), it is a sufficiently large hornet. It's surprising that it appears on flowers where longhorn beetles might be found during midsummer. The tip of its abdomen turns black, making it easy to distinguish from other hornets even when visiting flowers.
*As this is a wild-caught specimen, there may be minor scuffs. Please carefully examine the photos and consider your purchase.
