52.67 $
Description
Total height including the root ball of the Cocos palm is approximately 140 cm, with a trunk diameter of about 14 cm.
This is a silver-leaf type with standard-shaped petioles.
Note: The cloth and string used for the root ball are made of materials that will naturally decompose when planted, so please plant it as is without removing them.
The Cocos palm is said to be a hybrid of the Butia palm and the Syagrus romanzoffiana, originating from South America.
It has excellent cold tolerance, and mature trees are said to withstand temperatures below -10°C.
As expected of a hybrid, there are individual differences, with some having slender, long, and straight petioles, others having thick, short, and curved petioles, and there are also various types such as silver-leaf and green-leaf varieties.
