Backfire prevention mechanism: In case of a backfire, the flame is extinguished by the flame arrestor filter, and the shut-off valve operates due to the backfire pressure to shut off the gas supply. At this time, the shut-off valve is locked in its position.
Gas supply shut-off mechanism (secondary disaster prevention): The shock wave from abnormal pressure expansion during a backfire or backflow activates the internal shut-off valve of the main unit, stopping the gas supply and preventing the risk of re-ignition.
