Description
This is a set of large and small盆ざる (bonzaru - a type of flat sieve/colander) made in Tsubame-Sanjo.
Purchased from a kitchenware shop in a department store.
Large size: 27cm diameter
Small size: 21cm diameter
I liked them when I bought them, but
盆ざる don't seem to suit my cooking style.
I only use deep colanders, so each has been used less than 5 times.
They are designed to be hung on hooks.
You can use them to wash and drain vegetables,
or to serve boiled noodles directly to the table.
I would like to pass them on to someone who will enjoy using them.
