Pinned Insect Pins + Triangular Mounts ①

Insect Pins + Mounts

This set includes 5 Shiga Insect brand headless insect pins (approximately 40mm long, 0.5mm thick) and 5 Czech-made T11x5 small insect mounting cards (5mm wide x 11mm long, plain type).

The insect pins are made of stainless steel, so there's no need to worry about rust, making them suitable for long-term specimen preservation.

The mounting cards are made of thick, white, triangular cardstock. They are used to attach small insects with adhesives such as wood glue or animal glue. The sturdy, thick cards are ideal for creating specimens of small stag beetles, ladybugs, small stink bugs, ants, and more. They are also recommended for summer vacation projects and research.

While the exact paper quality and type are unknown, you can cut them into your desired shapes with scissors.

For detailed instructions on how to create mounted specimens, please refer to the many articles and guides available online if you are unsure.
