I'm listing this whetstone because the number of stones I use for work has increased, and I need to organize them.
This is a finishing stone made from natural whetstone from Kyoto.
Five sides, excluding the sharpening surface, have been protected.
I believe it would also be good for sharpening plane blades and chisels.
While it's not a very large whetstone, if you are accustomed to sharpening, it is possible to sharpen large blades.
If you sharpen slowly and carefully, you will achieve a very sharp edge.
It's not a perfect square, so the size is a bit difficult to gauge, but it's approximately 135mm x 85mm.
The thickness is also uneven, ranging from approximately 5mm to 8mm.
