TANITA TC-210
For proper heatstroke prevention, it's important to consider not only temperature and humidity but also radiant heat, including reflections from asphalt. The black bulb type, also used in professional settings, can measure radiant heat, allowing you to check the heat level at the height of children and pets.
Heatstroke Alert Compatible: Notifies you of the heatstroke alert level with illustrations.
Displays the Heat Stroke Index (WBGT) in large characters.
Based on the Heat Stroke Index (WBGT), which is the standard for heatstroke alerts, it determines the alert level in 5 stages: Almost Safe, Caution, Alert, Severe Alert, and Danger.

Usable Indoors and Outdoors with Black Bulb Type
Regular thermometers cannot measure heat (radiant heat) from sunlight or ground reflections. The TC-210 is equipped with a black bulb to measure solar radiation and radiant heat, which are factors contributing to heatstroke, making it usable outdoors even in direct sunlight.

Heat Stroke Index Alert
When the Heat Stroke Index (WBGT) reaches a set value, an alarm will sound for approximately 11 seconds to notify you.

Sunburn Alarm Function
The sunburn alarm function predicts the amount of UV rays based on the difference between the black bulb temperature and the dry-bulb temperature, and counts down the time until sunburn begins, by setting the region (latitude) and skin type.
