MANTAS EZCARAY

MANTAS EZCARAY, a Spanish mohair stole brand, began as a textile manufacturer in 1930 in the EZCARAY LA RIOJA region of northern Spain, surrounded by nature and abundant water.

The brand is dedicated to maintaining its quality by having skilled artisans consistently handle the entire process of yarn dyeing, weaving, and finishing. The spinning machines used to produce mohair, over 100 years old from the 18th century, are still meticulously maintained and operated today.

The raw yarns used in their products are of superior quality within the fiber market and have received long-term support from the International Mohair Association and The Woolmark Company.

For over 140 years since its founding, the company has strived to inherit traditional, nature-derived manufacturing methods. This dedication has resulted in the creation of unique textures and vibrant colors that continue to be produced to this day.

In recognition of its efforts to protect and pass on this tradition, the brand was awarded the Civil Order of Merit by His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain in June 2015. Furthermore, in November 2017, it received OEKO-TEX certification, a standard for safe textile products of the highest global level.

As a factory offering products made from mohair, MANTAS EZCARAY has also undertaken numerous OEM projects for the luxury market, earning high praise from renowned European and American fashion houses.
