Unused Kawashima Selkon Textiles Table Centerpiece, Pure Silk, Gold Thread, Auspicious Birds and Arabesque Pattern, with Tassels, in Paulownia Box, Excellent Condition

Thank you for viewing.

This is an elegant table runner from the long-established Kawashima Textile School.

It is a very luxurious item with a gorgeous woven pattern of auspicious birds and arabesque motifs using gold thread, based on a calm vermilion to terracotta color scheme.

Zui Chō Karakusa is a dignified design that combines auspicious birds and arabesque motifs, and it blends beautifully not only in Japanese spaces but also in Western-style interiors.

The tag indicates that the outer fabric is 100% silk and uses gold and silver threads, allowing you to enjoy its supple texture and beautiful luster unique to woven fabrics.

The design with tassels adds presence, and it is recommended not only as a table runner but also as a mat for chests of drawers, display shelves, and flower stands.
