-------------
This can be used as a Seizen Iha (pre-mortem memorial tablet, also known as Gyaku-shu-hai) where you can have Buddhist names or favorite phrases and mottos inscribed. In Buddhism, this is considered auspicious and believed to bring merit. While it is common to request inscriptions from a temple priest or a Buddhist goods store, it is also acceptable to write them yourself with a brush pen or similar tool.
However, if you desire a professional finish, seeking assistance from an expert is recommended.
