This rig is designed to target large fish from common seawalls and breakwaters.

The main target species are:
Black seabream (Chinu), Kibire, Seabass (Fukko), Eel, Catfish, Carp, Flathead, Croaker (Ishimochi), etc.
For Red seabream, it can be used for fish up to 60cm, provided the drop-off is not too steep.

The total length has been slightly shortened to avoid hindering the fish's bite, making it manageable even with non-heavy-duty casting tackle.

We highly recommend trying bottom fishing with light rods such as the Liberty Short Swing. (Inexpensive all-purpose casting rods or stiffer seabass rods are also suitable.)

Especially in estuary areas where long casts are often unnecessary, we hope you will enjoy casual bottom fishing with this rig and your existing tackle.

For bait, in addition to sandworms and lugworms, please also try extra-thick earthworms if available.
Brackish water fish, and even saltwater fish, respond exceptionally well to earthworms. We have previously caught black seabream, kibire, fukko, catfish, eels, and carp with this rig and earthworm bait combination.
Furthermore, if you can obtain crayfish, mud shrimp, or silversides, you can expect a wider variety of catches.

It also accommodates live bait fishing for flatfish when small horse mackerel, sardines, or small mackerel are schooling near the breakwater, or when you catch small whiting or flathead.

There are marks made with a marker on the leader for accurate length measurement, but these do not affect the fish's bite.
