This is a shakuhachi bag.
If the size and thickness are suitable, it could also be used as a taiko bachi bag?

I do not own a shakuhachi, so I cannot answer questions about whether it will fit.

This is Type B.
For a shakuhachi with a diameter of approximately 5 cm, this piece is designed to fit up to approximately 58 cm, or just under.
A tie string has been attached a few centimeters from the opening. The length can be adjusted to some extent by changing the folding position.

The gusset at the top and bottom will be taken up by the diameter of the shakuhachi.
Even if the overall length of the item is long, if it has a diameter and thickness, it will create gussets at the top and bottom, making it difficult for many items to fit.
As an image of the thickness, I have included a photo with an unopened mini juice can of approximately 5.2 cm inserted.

Depending on the person, if you untie the string or pull out the top fold, I would recommend Type A, but for now, only Type B will be listed.
