Description
This is a Sanba (Okinawan castanets) made from high-quality Kokwood.
New, unused item. Includes a free Sanba storage pouch.
This Sanba is crafted from the heartwood of Kokwood, a premium material also used for high-end Sanshin (Okinawan three-stringed instrument), musical instruments, and fine furniture.
It is a rare and valuable material that can only be used when the tree is over 100 years old.
When the three boards are struck together, they produce a beautiful, resonant sound with the unique weight of Kokwood.
*Please note that due to the use of natural wood, the grain pattern and color may vary slightly from piece to piece.
*A black Sanba storage pouch is included as a complimentary service.
