John Keim Pear Tree Basket Collapsible Accordion Wood Teapot Shape Signed‎ 1990s

Created in the 90s from a single piece of solid oak wood, John Keim of Pear Tree Baskets created something that feels like a small miracle — a basket that collapses completely flat and accordion-opens into a fully formed, functional bowl. Keim's Amish-rooted craftsmanship became beloved across America for exactly this quiet ingenuity cut with extraordinary precision. This example takes the form of a charming teapot silhouette — spout, handle, lid knob all intact — signed on the base. Opens fully to hold fruit, bread, tea bags, cutlery or cool display; folds flat for storage or hanging on wall.
