Vintage HO scale (1:87) 3-bay open-top hopper car in Chicago, Burlington & Quincy (CB&Q) 'Burlington Route — Everywhere West' livery, road number 170568. Attributed to Athearn based on matching tooling, data stenciling, and road number series (this Athearn 40' offset 3-bay hopper mold was released with several CB&Q road numbers including this one) — manufacturer's mark not visible in photos, so this attribution is our best match rather than a confirmed stamp. Stenciling reads CAPACITY 140000, LOAD LIMIT 173000, LIGHT WT. 47000 NEW 2-51, BUILT 2-51, CU. FT. 2773, INSIDE LENGTH 40'-8. Molded plastic body on black plastic trucks/wheels, standard HO scale. Empty hopper (no load included), shows general shelf wear consistent with age. No original box. Untested for rolling/coupling function — sold as a display/collector piece as-is.
