Late 1950's-early 1960's. In the manner of Christian Dior 1961 collection. An taupe/greige flat knit lightweight turban-style head wrap Liz Hughes made in Miami. Fitted flexible band around the front crown with soft gathering/pleating and a draped back tail or knot accent, adjustable. I have hand washed it. Non smoking home. This belonged to my Aunt Corrine who was a great beauty and worked for Elizabeth Arden. She had a wardrobe of these turbans and snoods that she wore for cosmetic applications and for sun bathing.. always gorgeous and glamorous
