Magewappa Individual Plates, Set of 5 - Kurikyu (Odate City, Akita Prefecture)

These are Odate Magewappa individual plates made from natural Akita cedar wood. The interior is lacquered. Purchased from Kurikyu when I visited Odate, they have been stored in a cupboard unused. Although not very noticeable, two of the five plates have one scratch each (see photos 3 and 4). I'm not sure how they got scratched since they were unused.
