They're originally built to be sturdy, so they should still last a long time!! The BARTH is based on the deck shoes supplied to the French Navy submarine units. Also known as deck shoes or boat shoes, they are designed for use on the decks of yachts and boats. They are robust enough to withstand harsh environments, yet offer a light and flexible feel for comfortable wear. The sole uses the MARINE SOLE, which incorporates various features to prevent slipping on wet decks. These are authentic deck shoes with all these specifications and are also resoleable.
