Description
Thank you for looking.
Mataro Doll is a Japanese doll workshop founded in 1919, certified as the sole legitimate successor by Kamigamo Shrine in Kyoto, the birthplace of Kimekomi dolls. Here, Kimekomi dolls, a traditional craft passed down for approximately 280 years since the Genbun era of the Edo period, are produced.
After sending a photo to the workshop for confirmation, they indicated that this Hinatsuru Sanbaso is estimated to have been made about 40 to 50 years ago.
For reference, the approximate size is about 27 cm in height and 24 cm in width.
It has been stored for many years and is generally in good condition, but please consider that there may be some age-related deterioration.
