2001 Maisto Tailwinds RAH-66 Comanche US Army Diecast Helicopter Sealed

Vintage 2001 Maisto Tailwinds Series VI RAH-66 Comanche die-cast military helicopter, still sealed in its original packaging with the collector display stand included. The RAH-66 Comanche was an advanced stealth reconnaissance and attack helicopter developed for the United States Army. Designed by Boeing and Sikorsky, the futuristic Comanche incorporated stealth technology and was intended to perform armed reconnaissance missions while being much harder for enemy radar to detect. What makes the RAH-66 especially interesting to military aviation collectors is that the program was ultimately canceled before the helicopter entered operational service. Only prototypes were produced, making the Comanche an interesting piece of U.S. Army aviation history and a glimpse at what might have been. An awesome Christmas gift for an Army veteran or service member, helicopter enthusiast, military aviation collector, or die-cast collector!
