Vintage 1960s JEM Black Beaded Sequin Kiss Lock Coin Purse

Vintage JEM hand-beaded evening coin purse, handmade in Hong Kong, circa 1960s.  This petite black purse is completely covered in intricate beadwork and sequins, with dimensional looped seed-bead designs creating a beautifully textured surface. Finished with an engraved gold-tone metal frame and classic ball kiss-lock closure.  Black satin-lined interior with original JEM Hand Made in Hong Kong label.  Measures approximately 4¼” wide; please see measurement photos for additional dimensions.  A wonderful little survivor from the mid-century cocktail era. Despite its petite size, the dense hand beadwork, black-on-black sequins and ornate gold-tone frame give it plenty of presence. Perfect as a collectible vintage evening accessory, coin purse, tiny clutch, or display piece.  Preowned vintage condition with age-appropriate wear to the frame, lining, beadwork and sequins.
