Wedgwood‎ Basalt Tea Cup Saucer Set England Matte Black Vintage

Vintage Wedgwood Basalt Tea Espresso Cup and Saucer Small Made in England   They’re sleek, minimalist and cool!   Matte kind of velvety feel outside, the inside of the cup is shiny glossy. The teacup stamp is not as prominent as the saucer but has little number stamped by the logo.  Originally “normal “ size teacups but today would be suitable for espresso.   Approximate measurements  Cup opening/mouth- 3” Height 2.25” Saucer- 5 1/2” wide  Good condition- no chips or cracks, slight shelf ware on bottoms. It wasn’t used daily.   Personal note  Unfortunately I had a set of two but broke one while it was drying on the rack, it should be hand washed only. They definitely made me feel fancy when drinking my morning espresso! I’m unsure of the age as they were originally my grandmother’s and she gave them to me about 30 years ago since she didn’t use them. Teacup has a little square remnant assuming it was from a sticker?    Photos taken inside by a window in natural daylight and outside to show any imperfections and color in different lighting.
