Carnelian Beads alternating with distinctive marquise-shaped openwork filigree links. This classic wire-wrapped chain structure is highly characteristic of estate and jewelry designs from the early 1900s. Metal has a silver patina. 40 inches long. The Czech or European Link: During the 1920s through the 1950s, design hubs in Germany (like Jakob Bengel) and Czechoslovakia heavily utilized carnelian stones and carnelian-colored glass beads set inside stamped geometric brass framing.
