Description
[Product Name]
Hagi Ware White Hagi Ear-handled Mizusashi (Tea Ceremony Utensil)

[Details]
This is an impressive ear-handled mizusashi made using traditional Hagi ware techniques.
It's a piece where you can enjoy the scenery, with a warm Biwa color base and a beautiful, snow-like white glaze (White Hagi glaze) that has dripped down.
The surface has fine kannyu (cracks) characteristic of Hagi ware, hinting at the Hagi no Nanabake (seven transformations of Hagi) where the texture changes with use.
• Pottery Seal: Matsu (pine) seal on the bottom (believed to be from Matsumidori Kiln, Yamato family lineage)
• Shape: A solid, cinched body form with charming ears.
• Lid: Comes with a matching lid (made of the same ceramic as the main body).

[Size]
• Height: Approx. 14cm (including lid knob)
• Mouth Diameter: Approx. 10.5cm
• Body Width: Approx. 18cm (maximum width including ears)
*Please allow for slight errors due to amateur measurements.

[Condition]
This is a long-term storage item. There is a small area on the rim of the main body that appears to be a slight glaze chip (or kiln mark), but there are no major noticeable chips or cracks.
A shared wooden box is not included, so it will be carefully packed with cushioning material for shipping.
