Vintage Mele Japan 4 Drawer Musical Jewelry Box Florentine Gold Red Velvet

Vintage Mele musical jewelry box made in Japan, featuring four pull-out drawers, ornate Florentine-style decoration, antiqued gold and cream finish, scalloped edges, and red velvet-lined interiors.  The box has a beautiful Old World Italian-inspired look with raised gold scrollwork, soft pink and green accents, turned feet, and round drawer pulls. Original “Styled by MELE Japan” label remains on the bottom. A winding key is located on the back.  The music box mechanism is not currently working and is being sold as-is. The exterior shows age-related wear, rubbing, and patina that complement its vintage appearance. Please review photos for condition.
