Vietnam War Vietnam Zippo Slim Zippo Lighter 64-65 Saigon

Thank you for viewing m(_ _)m

[A Gem of Historical Value]

This unit's manufacturing year miraculously matches the date engraved on the back.

This is a slim type Zippo manufactured in 1964, as determined by the bottom engraving (left: none, right: ・). The engraving on the back indicating the period of stationing, 64-65, perfectly matches the manufacturing year of the body, making it highly likely to be an authentic Vietnam Zippo used in the battlefield during the Vietnam War.

[Design and Message]

・Front: Etching of a unit emblem with a bulldog face. Some of the original gold-colored embellishments remain in the engraved areas, exuding a vintage elegance.

・Back: Along with the place name of the fierce battlefield of Vietnam, **SAIGON**, a soldier's angry message is engraved:

If you don't know what hell is like, fuck with me and you'll find out.

[Condition: Lights Well, Sound is Subtle]

Please confirm the following condition, which tells the story of approximately 60 years of history:

・Hinge: No damage.

・Inside unit is removable.

・Operation confirmed: Lights confirmed.

[From the Seller]

This is a piece that carries the weight of history, likely held by soldiers of that era.

While there are signs of age and paint peeling, Vietnam Zippos from the actual period with perfectly matching dates are extremely rare in the market.

We hope to pass this on to Zippo collectors, vintage collectors, or those who are acquiring their first Vietnam Zippo m(_ _)m
