Description
Wajima-nuri is an extremely valuable, high-quality lacquerware designated as a National Important Intangible Cultural Property due to its division of labor involving over 100 artisan techniques and the high quality of its natural materials.
In recent years, due to the Noto Peninsula earthquake, artisans have lost their tools, making supply even more scarce.
This item was inherited from an old family home. All items are unused.
Each piece comes in its own box and is wrapped in a Japanese paper bag. The paulownia wood boxes are beautiful, and the Japanese paper inside is also in clean condition with no discoloration.
