For Yasufumi 0024: Jess Basso ◇ Hip Waders - Felt Sole

I bought these for stream fishing but never had the chance to use them and kept them in storage.

These are hip waders designed for ease of movement, with waterproofing from the feet up to the waist. Size M, fitting shoe sizes 26-27.5cm. All designs are tailored for Japanese body types. The thigh circumference for each size has been calculated based on average height, resulting in completely original sizing. To enhance mobility, these hip waders feature a V-shaped cut in the inseam, allowing for greater freedom of movement in the crotch area. This V-cut design is also tailored to the inseam length based on average height for each size, ensuring a comfortable fit for Japanese users.
Hip waders are primarily used in fields where light wading is sufficient. While chest-high waders offer superior waterproofing up to the chest and are very convenient, they can be a bit cumbersome to store and take some time to put on and take off when moving between locations. In contrast, hip waders allow you to freely fish in areas where regular boots might not be sufficient, and you can change quickly, much like changing regular boots, when moving to a new spot. Furthermore, hip waders can be folded compactly, eliminating the need for a storage bag, which adds to their convenience. A significant advantage of hip waders is their high durability and breathability. Due to their structure, which only covers up to the inseam, there's no need to use highly breathable materials, making them very robust waterproof tools resistant to scuffs and scratches.
