Description
Striking mid-century butterfly brooch and pendant featuring shimmering metallic confetti-foil wings in rich shades of pink, red, blue, purple and gold beneath a glossy clear enamel/resin finish. Designed with fixed scalloped wings, elongated swallowtail tips and a dimensional ribbed body. The reverse has a locking safety clasp and built-in pendant bail, allowing it to be worn as either a brooch or necklace pendant. Unsigned gold-tone costume jewelry, likely dating from the late 1950s–1960s. Very good vintage condition with bright, intact decoration and light age-related wear to the metal finish. Chain not included.
