WW2 British Army 1939 Helmet - Genuine Item - World War II

This is an actual helmet I imported from the UK last month.
I am currently decluttering due to moving. I am reluctantly listing it because I cannot secure storage space and have no plans to use it.

The photos shown were taken at the time of purchase. It was lightly cleaned once as it had a lot of dirt on it upon arrival.
It still has a smell characteristic of antiques.

The number engraving can be confirmed on the rim of the helmet, and 1939 is engraved inside. While details are unknown, it is possible it was made in 1939.
Something like a film, possibly paint or a piece of rubber, from the inside of the helmet is flaking off.

Overall, there are signs of rust, paint peeling, and scratches, indicating significant signs of use and age-related deterioration.
Please carefully examine the photos to assess the condition.

As this is a used, vintage item, its condition is by no means excellent.
Please only purchase if you understand this.
No claims or returns will be accepted.
Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive about condition.
