Description
Surface Go 3 with Linux Installed (Fedora 42, 8GB RAM, 128GB Storage)
This is a Surface Go 3 with Fedora 42 installed.
It originally came with Windows 10 Home, but Linux was installed due to end of support.
It's running Fedora Workstation 42.
Both the camera and SD card are functional.
You can use Tver and a VPN to use an external monitor as a TV,
and even play FullHD movies smoothly (though it's borderline).
LibreOffice is also included.
With a TV tuner, it can also be used as a recording device.
It's lightweight as it's a tablet.
The touchpad supports gestures.
It works well with the terminal,
and you can even let AI handle some settings.
Depending on your use case, it's still very capable.
Personally, I find it more useful than when it had Windows 10.
Keyboard and adapter are included.
The reason for the reduced price is:
The lower half of the touch panel does not work.
This was already the case when it had Windows,
and it's not an issue with Fedora as it's not used.
I don't believe this will cause any problems.
Storage Capacity...128GB
Functional Defects...Yes
