Oribe Ware Lidded Bowl, Rice Bowl, Side Dish Bowl, Small Bowl, Set of 5, Repaired with Pure Tin
A set of 5 Oribe ware lidded bowls from the late Edo to Meiji period, generously coated with green glaze.
Geometric patterns are drawn in iron glaze with a freehand brushstroke.
We believe these can be used as small rice bowls, lidded side dishes, or small bowls.
Of the 5 bowls, one has no scratches on either the lid or the body.
The remaining 4 bowls, while not having any major noticeable damage, have chips and nicks, which have been repaired as follows (see arrows in images).

Bowl 4: 2 chips on the lid and 2 chips on the body repaired with pure tin.
