Rare Komon Kimono, Exquisitely Crafted by Chin sui

This is an inventory item from when my mother-in-law ran a kimono shop.
I heard that Chinsui komon was famous and considered the best, and when I searched, I found an article about it.

The shop is no longer in business.

I have included a screenshot of that article in the last image for reference.

Ms. Terumiko Tomizawa, who wrote the article, was active in the editorial department of Utsukushii Kimono (Beautiful Kimono).

The fabric is substantial and firm.
It is over 13 meters long.

The color in the photos seems a bit too red.
Looking at a color dictionary, I believe akane (madder red) is the closest.
The color may vary slightly depending on your device, but I have also included a sample of the akane color in the images.
The bottom four images are closest to the actual color.

This is a very beautiful and wonderful item.
When I first listed it, I set a high price reflecting its value and rarity.

However, rather than keeping it for us to admire occasionally, I am listing it with the hope that it will go to someone who will appreciate and wear it...

Below the inscription Chinsui Kensei, the fabric is in poor condition, but this does not affect the finished kimono, so I have listed it as having no scratches or stains.
