Offered is a beautiful antique Chinese porcelain ginger jar crafted in the highly collectible relief-carved style of Wang Bingrong. This small-scale piece features a rich, vibrant turquoise-green glazed ground adorned with intricately molded, high-relief decoration depicting a traditional aquatic scene.  The three-dimensional artwork features a beautifully detailed white crane or heron wading through a pond surrounded by large, layered lotus leaves and seed pods. The slip-trailed, hand-carved detailing gives the piece an exceptional tactile and visual depth. The underside of the base features an impressed or stamped CHINA mark, a characteristic export designation typically used starting in the late 1891 McKinley Tariff Act era through the early 20th century.
