Rare Design Antique Church Chair - Simple and Deeply Flavorful Antique Chair

Approximately ¥45,000.

Please consider this price as shipping and handling fees will add approximately ¥10,000.
It has a natural and warm atmosphere,
and is a box-type Church Chair with a simple style.
I purchased it because I really liked its well-balanced overall form.

The wedge at the top of the backrest is a rare specification with a beautifully rounded finish, and the simple backrest blends well with various interiors. The dealer mentioned that simple types with good overall balance are rare finds. Many of the wider, heavier types are usually encountered.
This one is relatively slender and has a stylish form. It's very cute.

Even after over 100 years, it is a very sturdy and practical chair with no wobbling or looseness. It will continue to be useful for a long time to come.

One side with the wedge originally had a linear crack, but the shop where I purchased it sold it after professional maintenance, and it was used without any functional issues.
I personally find it adds to the charm, but if you prefer a cleaner look, you could finish it with oil stain for a more refined appearance.

The upper part has a slightly dry color from the oil, but it has a lovely antique feel that can only be achieved with age, giving it a natural and warm texture.
You might also enjoy the dry, antique texture by lightly sanding the entire surface.

I am organizing my furniture and am a bit hesitant, but I've decided to list it.
I believe anyone who loves antiques will surely appreciate it. I would be happy to pass it on to someone who loves it and understands its value.
